Company History

1992- Originally known as Advanced SMT Stencils, we started with chemically etched brass solder paste stencils. Over the following year we began etching stainless steel stencils. We offered an extra step, micro-polishing to all the stencils with no extra cost.

1997- As the technology turned toward fine pitch parts, we responded by purchasing our first Lumonics Screen Cut 4000 Laser! To offer our customers better quality we began Laser cutting stencils at the low chem-etch prices!

1998- Management decides to go 100% Laser cutting,100% environmentally friendly, offering better quality and better turn times ...Alternative Solutions was born. We purchased a second Lumonics laser to support the continued growth of our business. We have since been adding the latest in high-tech lasers to our fleet as they become available to the market.

As we pass a milestone something's remain the same. We still have the same great quality, service and pricing that has allowed us to grow so much. We still do not charge premiums for quick turn orders and as always we still have an open door policy welcoming our customers and prospective customers to come and have a tour or just visit.
