Inspection Tools

boards by creating a template for you.
Inspection Templates can significantly increase
your inspection and save lots of time and money. Templates can be manufactured with
location designators as well as marked in different colors to match up with component
identification values. More and more companies have found by using our
Inspection Templates they can eliminate the time consuming process manual
inspect.
ASI is now
able to offer both stainless steel and ESD Safe plastic assembly
inspection tools. These are available both unmarked and with any
combination of designator and polarity text. Make quality control almost
fool proof.
Stainless steel is an excellent choice for uses that will not bring
it in contact with static sensitive devices or components that are
powered up.
For true protection we offer ESD safe material precisely cut with a
CO2 laser. This plastic is a semi conductor that will bleed a charge in
a controlled manner. They can be ordered with part designators and other
identifying text clearly marked.

Wave Solder Fixtures

Reflow Carrier
Wave Solder Fixtures
Our Wave Solder Fixtures are made from Durapol, Delmat or a
combination of Delmat and Titanium materials. These fixtures will allow you to
dependably solder
your thru hole components while shielding your surface mount components and
your Printed Circuit Board. Solder only what needs to be soldered for a reliable
and quick approach rather than by hand soldering. By using our wave pallets on
your assembly line you will cut time and cost!

Process Carriers
Process Carriers are made to
hold your printed circuit board whether it is odd shaped, thin or of any other
design. These carriers are generally made out of thinner materials so they may go all the way through your entire pick and place line, including reflow and inspection equipment. From screen print, glue
(if needed), chip placer,
integrated placer, reflow and AOI or any other type of inspection operation.
Process Carriers support your PCB to ensure reliably placed components during
your entire process, an assortment of hold downs can be used. These include cam
side clamps, side pushers with and without pins, pullers/w pins and 4 corner pushers to
ensure centering.

Vacuum Blocks
We can create dedicated Vacuum Block Systems
for you! These can be made for a variety of screen print machines, for an
example; MPM Vacuum Blocks are made to operate either with your shop air with a Venturi type system
or by utilizing the vacuum system on the MPM screen printer
itself. These vacuum blocks securely hold your PCB in place while being
screen printed. They are designed to screen print both sides of your printed
circuit board and are designed to your specifications.
Press Fit Tooling
Press Fit Tooling is designed to hold your
press fit connector pins without causing harm to them while being pressed into
the printed circuit board. Press Fit Tooling consists of a top pusher plate that
fits inside the connector and a bottom support plate to support the PCB and the
barrels in your circuit board. They can be designed to attach to your press's
pushing ram or as a stand alone unit.
