Laser cutting stencils is no longer an option, it is a necessity. The quality of a laser cut aperture wall is unsurpassed. Modifications to the apertures are done utilizing the original CAD data, eliminating the need for artworks. By eliminating this process and using CAD data you reduce variables and increase accuracy. It is this accuracy that is necessary for the fine pitch surface mount process. Laser cutting produces the high-aspect ratio cuts needed for fine pitch technology evenly throughout the entire stencil. ASI is also seeing a growing need for larger stencils. While still stocking a wide variety of standard frames, ASI can custom manufacture stencils to meet your large frame requirements.
