The capabilities of this Tannlin T8 Laser will reduce the cost of cutting large aperture-count stencils, with a speed many times faster than other lasers. The Tannlin T8 fiber laser allows us to produce our specialty, the "Alternative to Electroform" stencil. Along with a patented fine grain material, this makes possible a laser cut stencil that, according to our customers, matches or exceeds electroform in performance, turn time and pricing!

Our workhorse Directed Light with a large frame stencil on the right- 50 x 72 inches! The Directed Light Laser, an old and trusted friend, has the ability to do what most other machines simply can not. We cut stainless up to .025" and frame sizes to 29"x40", 34.5"x37" and 50"x72". ASI, an industry leader of solder paste stencils sees a promising future. With components getting smaller, fine pitch requirements are more demanding. Laser cutting stencils is no longer an option, it is a necessity. The quality of a laser cut aperture wall is unsurpassed. Modifications to the apertures are done utilizing the original CAD data, eliminating the need for artwork. By eliminating this process and using CAD data you reduce variables and increase accuracy. It is this accuracy that is necessary for the fine pitch surface mount process. Laser cutting produces the high-aspect ratio cuts needed for fine pitch technology evenly throughout the entire stencil. ASI is also seeing a growing need for larger stencils. While still stocking a wide variety of standard frames, ASI can custom manufacture stencils to meet your large frame requirements.
